Gabriola Island Camping Trip
Gabriola is a quiet small island part of the Southern Gulf Islands, British Columbia, Canada. How to get there: There are 2 options: Ferries: It took us 3 hours taking two ferries and one bus; fare: $27 per person per direction ( here ) Seaplanes: It usual takes only 20' at $89 per person per direction ( here ) Photo taken from the ferry leaving Horseshoe Bay Photo taken from the ferry leaving Horseshoe Bay Where to stay: Our destination was Descanso Bay Regional Park campground which was a 15' walk from the ferry harbour. Reservations are available via email or phone ( here ) which we did 2 weeks in advance to secure a spot. Our trip was in the middle of May so the campground was not that busy.
