Watersprite Lake - A trail of variety

Turning right from Highway 99, we followed a logging road for another hour to arrive at the trailhead. The trail started at a hydroelectric power station 500 meters from the parking lot. The first section of the trail was quite flat or ascended gradually through the forest. It was the most relaxing section of the trail. After this, we arrived at the ridge offering a breathtaking view of Diamond Head peak, Round Mountain, Elfin lake area, etc. We hiked through this terrain for 45 minutes to an hour fully exposed to the sun.
